Progressive Leader – Issue01
We are proud to bring you the first edition of Progressive Leader, the magazine of the ANC Progressive Business Forum.
The PBF was formed to bring together South Africa’s business and political leaders. Together we can achieve so much more than on our own – the ethos of Ubuntu.
The focus of this magazine is to give our members insight into the political leaders of our country – the real people behind the headlines – and also to enable them to learn from other businesspeople who are succeeding in South Africa.
To this end, in this issue we introduce you to Angie Motshekga, Mathews Phosa, Lindiwe Sisulu and several successful entrepreneurs, including Robert Gumede. We hope you’ll also fi nd the “guru pages” useful; they’ve been designed to give short, punchy insights into techniques to make us all more effective in business.
Progressive Leader is also a forum for our members to become aware of and support each other. With this in mind we have designed the listings section at the back of the magazine, so please scan this next time you’re looking for a supplier.
Networking and engagement underpin what the PBF is about. Our magazine is a carefully conceptualised, strategically targeted and an exciting new arrival on the publishing scene. We are confident that it will meet (and actually exceed) the expectations of our influential readers and our highly valued advertisers. And as is the philosophy of the PBF, this magazine will be all about bringing people together!
